My comment is directed towards you saying that you doubt these obese people didn’t have type 2 diabetes or any kidney issues to begin with.

I think it comes down to common sense. Since carbs were pushed on Americans during the mid 20th century, everythig has taken a turn for the worst, diabetes and heart disease has risen. Simple solution, moderation and excersise.

  3. JCGrantatAC says:

Adequate sodium, potassium, and magnesium intake easily dispenses with that issue.

anyone who follows or listens to the atkins diet is a fool. Atkins was found to have more gunked up fat and shit inside his arteries when they cut him open than anyone who eats like a normal human being.

I was on a Keto diet for about 2 weeks. I cut out nearly all my carbs (even those in vegetables) I was about 10 carbs a day only coming from my whey protein shake. I seen significant weight loss the first 5 days dropping 10 lbs (248-238). However towards the end, it wasn’t fun. I almost passed out numerous times, felt nauseous, dizzy, getting cold sweats. I’m sure not everyone will experience these same effects because some may not go as extreme as I did, but this is some insight and my experie

I went from high protein to moderate fat moderate protein low carbs because heard if you do high protein with low carbs most of it gets converted into glucose anyway

idk man that extra 12 hours when you sleep on an empty gas tank is really what gives that extra edge for fat burning

I tried 36hr fasts and like iv said in my videos I’m sure it made me break out in spots after a few cycles. At first I felt ok with minimal s/e but really hit me hard. Maybe I abused my body with crappy food too much when I was younger! Think I’ll try carb cycling ad I’m at around 8% bf too. Peace out & take care guys

  9. jizamurai says:

he’s said he’s eating a shit ton of vegetables (pun intended) lately, so that wouldn’t be a problem

  10. OldBillBailey says:

Maybe I’ll try 18hr fasts like mercola suggested. Sounds a little easier on the body.

Hey Cory! I dont know if a high protein diet causes any kidney problems but i know for sure that a high protein diet may cause osteoporosis. So in my opininon you should not be telling people to do a high protein diet. Thanks ;)

LCC at his best. Volek and Phinney’s recent book, “The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living,” also smashes this erroneous criticism offered up by the sugar-burners. It’s a very good book that references real science definitively showing that keto-adaptation leads to true Beast Mode.

Dude, you should write a PDF book because your ideas are A-1 and smart. I would buy it! Thanks for the good advice!

Looking forward to your Transformation Video!!! Good luck and I really look forward to seeing it!

If anything is bad for your kidneys its sugar.

  15. ChowMeinChowdown says:

Hmm, sounds like you were a little low on calories. Did you replace enough of the carb calories with fat or protein? It could also be that your body was making that transition to burning fat. Anyways strict Keto is very hard to do for more than a week (just can’t feel satiated without some veggies), especially if your body fat % was already on the low end.

@lowcarbcory Can you make a motivation video in diet or exercise so that whenever someone feels like eating something bad or cbf doing something, they can watch your video? You’d be a good motivational speaker…your voice is good to hear, you always upload videos frequently. Btw, thanks for answering my questions by making videos.

as for a 36 hour fast

  18. AmericanFitnessGuru says:

I think you fail to remember how flawed the definition of obesity is made by the bmi. I’m considered obese and I’m 190 pounds of pure shredded sexiness. So they could’ve by definition be considered obese, but that doesn’t mean they were at the morbid obese stage.

The only way you’d know that for sure would be if you had access to his autopsy report. Sounds like more propaganda of the sort that claimed he died of heart attack, when it wasn’t true!

  20. wheelofcheese100 says:

People that are leaner are likely to be insulin sensitive (meaning they function better on carbs). Yes, I know it sounds weird. It sounds like it should be insulin resistant. Overweight people are likely to be insulin resistant. Now that you are lean, you should consider changing your diet.
